We were very pleased overall with this loft bed with slide! Its a bed, so the sturdiness falls in line with what you can expect with a bed. Our almost 3yr old loves it, and Im much more comfortable with him sliding down to come get us, or run to the bathroom, than I would be with him going down bunk stairs. This product was just what I needed
