Love this couch so much! It arrived in two boxes and while it was challenging I WAS able to get them both up the stairs and assemble this couch alone. I will say the box and common sense both say this is a two person build and that would have made it a quick 15 minute project in my opinion. That being said I got creative and used a coffee table to rest the seat part on while I attached the arm rests and that helped a lot. The only reason I give it a 4 for assembly is because I had a hard time getting the screws under the arm rest to line up and once I did the process was tedious with the provided little tool. The key here is that you have to screw it in at an angle and not straight on like the three screws thats attach the backrest, once you figure that out its easy sailing. Again, or enough of a deterrent to knock off a star on the couch itself and it would have been easier if Id had help. I am in love! The couch is firm and comfortable and more beautiful in person! So far meets my expectations
