Edit: so after 2 years the thing didnt hold together. Hardware would loosen, fixed with blue lock tight. The wheel on the trundle caused the metal to bend on the trundle frame. The thin metal was in fact not solid enough to hold together long term. I wouldnt spend the money again.
Bought this bed for teenagers. My boys wanted their bed to look like a couch by day but be comfortable at night. This worked perfectly. We got a cover for day time use that makes it look less like a bed . It is sturdy and pleasant enough to sit in the middle of the room.
It took 10 minutes to set up but definitely requires two to three people. The directions and stickers made it fairly easy to figure out. The trundle bed works great with a 6 inch twin mattress.
Surprised to see how thin the bed metal is but how solid it is crafted.
