Very nice, sturdy daybed. I got a 10 mattress for the top and an 8 mattress for the bottom. I figured the top mattress would get more use and need better support as a daytime sofa. Very pleased with the purchase. Wish it came in a different color, but the design is such that the frame can sort of disappear when you put throw pillows around it
