I got this bunk bed for my son and was able to put it together by myself in two afternoons. It does move just a tiny bit when either person moves, but it is definitely sturdy enough for me to climb up on the top bunk with my son to read him stories. The instructions were very clear, it just takes a lot of perseverance to put it all together.
