Pretty typical bunk beds. Honestly wish I could have figured out a way to haul the set from Ikea to my apartment instead, mainly because the ladder doesnt stick out. Pay close attention to the side the ladder is on in the pics because thats the only option with this bed. Very inconvenient and weve had more than one stubbed toe because it sticks out in the walkway, but otherwise Ive been satisfied with beds. Just not looking forward to taking it apart when the lease is up!
