I love this day bed, feels very sturdy. It took me a while to figure out the instructions though. I ended up looking at the full assembled figure and assembled it accordingly, which wasnt so bad. The step by step instructions is not the best. I did the whole thing alone, throw an 8 foam mattress on top of it and it felt great. Not sure though if the mattress being directly on the bars will affect it over time or no. That is yet to be seen.
The trundle is OK, but would not recommend someone over lb 150 using it, as it tends to bend a bit under weight, all it holds it are the four wheels.
