There was a logo on the box. Not sure if its really made by , but it doesnt matter. I had a wooden desk chair for years that looked great but was not comfortable and I kept banging the wood handles into my desk and scratching up the desktop. I chose this one because I wanted something more comfortable. The chrome base isnt to my personal taste but it is also scratch resistant. The arms of this chair are the perfect height as they slip right under the desktop. If you follow the instructions carefully it goes together in a few moments. It is a 2/person job, however. I got a good value for the money. I am happy with it. Im enjoying it so far!
