I wanted a day bed for my VR gaming room. I figured it would double as a couch and a bed for my grandkids when they visit. Its a slightly not navy dark blue. I found a velour blanket at the store the same color, and a twin bedspread that was navy and white.
Assembly wasnt difficult, but it was definitely tedious. Make sure you have most of the room to spread the parts out in. I was worried that having just snap in slats wouldnt be strong enough to use as a couch for several adults to sit on, but it seems fine. With a standard size twin mattress, its about mid/thigh height in the front. There is no guide for the trundel to slide in and out, its just a frame, slats and wheels with the front piece on it. We might eventually replace it with a thin board and make it a storage compartment.
All in all, it was worth the price, the color isnt as weird as it seems at first, but its taller than youd expect.
