they came with visible orange rust on many of the parts. I had to spend at least an hour before assembly wiping down every single piece. The assembly was also a bit difficult at points and is almost impossible to do alone. I bought two of these and they both had the same issues.
However, after all was said and done, the beds look magnificent and are extremely sturdy. My kids have already treated them like monkey bars and they do not budge.
So prepare to do some serious cleaning when you open your package and have a partner ready for assembly as well. As long as you know what to expect you will love the finished product. You get more than what you pay for!
