My 18yr old niece picked this platform bedframe out for her first apartment. Was not fun carrying this box up flights of stairs. Took about 1.5 hours for her boyfriend to assemble it himself. The poles/beams that go throughout to hold in the mattress sort of snap into place at the end. However they can easy come out when moving the frame into its final position. There were predrilled holes at the end of each of them as if to screw into place or secure with a bolt, but nothing like that in the box. I also thought it came with adhesive strips to attach to the poles and then set the mattress on top but I may have been wrong about that (too tired to read through the online description). Quite strong for multiple people to sit/lay on to test out weight strength. The mattress does not slide at all, and as pictured she put on her new sheets. Would recommend for the price. These pic I uploaded doesnt show the headboard and footboard designs as easily with her black bedding, but super cute. Will be even cuter when her new pillows and comforter arrives. Would recommend this. Great for small small storage underneath like shoes, small totes, shoeboxes, etc. This product was just what I needed
