I will start with the ladder for this loft bed. This is the second loft bed we have owned for our daughter. The first wasnt as tall and was passed down, we never had any problems with her getting in the bed the ladder had a flat area for the feet to climb. This bed the ladder posts are rounded and very painful on the bottom of your feet. We are trying to think of ways to correct this but if I knew this beforehand it would have been a deal breaker for me. Unfortunately we waited for a while to assemble the bed after we bought it so we are going to try to make the best out of it, otherwise I would return it. It is quiet tall and not suitable for toddler or younger children. Though it doesnt come with storage it give plenty of room underneath to have whatever you want. I have to say Im pretty disappointed so far.
