The parts are inside the cushion. The black mesh thing at the bottom has velcro. Open it GENTLY and pull the rest of the parts out. Lol very easy to assemble. Took 10 minutes MAX and its wide enough. Material is good and so is the wood. But I did notice the wood is so soft it slides on the carpet when you try to sit in it. Just add rubber to it or sit very carefully. truly easy to install
