Took several hours to put together but was well worth the effort. Instructions are fairly clear, make sure to account for every single part listed by lining them up and checking them off the list. Ours was missing one part six which was an essential component and we had to postpone our installation and request the part be shipped to us. The part came within a week or so and after some rearranging of schedules, I put it together with my brother. Hung battery operated lights through the bunk slats and around the top bunk for a bit of added flair. Suffice it to say both my kids (4yrs16months) absolutely love it!! Well worth the cost!! We all love it!
