A lot of comments saying you need two people to assemble it. No you dont. Im a small adult and I was able to put this together with zero issues and within 1 hour. A little wobbly but thats about it and to be expected because its a cheap bunk bed. I got it for my 6 year old. And she loves it! It does what it needs to do and its perfect. No complaints! I also put pool noodles on the stairs because my daughter said its hurts her feet so it was an easy solution! Great Buy
