It really only stands 6 / the .5 is one branch on the top. The top part of the tree is very thin/ especially compared to rest of tree. Majority of tree has branches off of branches which I like so it can increase the fullness look. The top just doesnt seem to go with the rest of the tree. A tad disappointed with the overall look in comparison to the description and pictures.
