Assembly was easy and sturdiness is good but this is much smaller than you think. Do not let the advertised picture fool you. The product we received is definitely not the same as that picture. In the picture, there are standard sized books on each shelf and the plant next to it makes you think it is a decent height. False! The only way you can put a standard sized book on you would have to remove the middle shelf. Please do not be deceived. You are not getting your moneys worth with this product as some would have you believe. Shop around before you buy.
