Easy to assemble. I will agree seat was as hard as a rock at first but softened up quickly. It does want to pitch forward a little bit but its not terrible. For the price it works for me. I sit 6 to 8 hours a day in it and its pretty comfy. I added a pillow to the back because Im short. It does rock back and forth which I like. Overall Im pleased with this chair.
