After only 5-ish months of use, the gas cylinder began to fail. Every hour or so Id have to readjust the chair height. No, biggie, I thought, Ill just order a replacement cylinder.. Ordering the replacement cylinder was easy, but the old cylinder refuses to be separated from the chair at either end. Ive replaced the cylinder in chairs a few times and never had any trouble until this chair.
UPDATED Using a rubber mallet, some WD-40 and plenty of muscle, I was able to separate the gas cylinder from the chair. Installed the new cylinder and havent had any issues since then. I do love the fuzzy chair and I am glad I was able to get it fixed. it is a very comfortable, armless desk chair.
