We got this desk for our 1st grader to do school from home. Prior to having this he and his father were both working at the kitchen table. Having him in a different room with his own space has stopped all the over talking and arguing, and our son is able to focus on his teacher instead of trying to figure out what dad is doing all day. It's a very good little desk that can grow with your child. Has a lot of storage space and the light is nice.
