My son is 4, he loved it the first week and couldnt wait to sleep on itBut then it started feeling less and less stable and he stopped climbing up. Very wobbly, and the screws have to be retightened every month or so.
Underneath were able to have fuller use of his room with the added space of the loft. The legs are thin and unobstructive which is aesthetically great (but also probably a part of the stability issue).
There were some bumps, bruises and very slight imperfections to the one we received but i didnt have time to return it and we needed a bed in our new place asap.
If you get this one make sure you have solid wall support on at least 2 sides with no moulding at the base. We have base mouldings that prevent full wall support so were stuck with the wobbly bed for our 36lb son (weight added to emphasize that hes a slim kid and the wobbliness is not due to overuse or inappropriate use, just not the best engineering on this one).
Attractive, but WOBBLY!
