We have a high counter, so I was worried that these would not go high enough. They are perfect! They could even go a little bit higher; there is a very wide variance in the available height. They are comfortable to sit on and have held up very well against teenagers so far. My son put 4 of them together - he was done in under an hour and I didnt hear any cursing, so they must have been pretty easy to set up
As a side note, we got the ones available via Warehouse - they were supposedly either former returns or otherwise imperfect. I did a full inspection when we received them and could not find a single thing different from a new set. And we bought 6 total - they were so inexpensive via the Warehouse I got 2 extra in case any had issues - so now we have spares! These seem to fluctuate in price a bit, so give the Warehouse ones a shot if the current new pricing is too high.
