We bought 4 of these for our bar in the basement. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the materials. For the price I think the hardware and fabric are appropriate. The fit-and-finish are nice as well. I dont see these getting heavy use where they are, but they do get occasional use during partys or when guests feel like leaning on the bar. The only notable condition that I see that isnt ideal with these is that I have them on very low pile carpet and some pretty firm foam over-top of our concrete basement floor and my wife thinks they are tippy, but my son and I havent agreed on the same notion. I would say that I cant imagine my older relatives climbing up on them due to the combination of height and small foot-print, but for normal use by most demographics I dont see any issues. We have had all ranges of kids and adults climb on these without issue so far.
Assembly, for what its worth was very simple. The chairs shipped in well constructed and well padded boxes. You basically screw the base plate on the bottom of the chair, then insert the base-plate / cylinder into that. I think I had both chairs assembled in about 5 minutes.
