It looks beautiful. Very relaxing to turn on just the flames and enjoy. The heat will warm up my living room no problem.
Assembly is very difficult if you have to do it alone it took me 3 hours, I have a bad back, I'm 4ft 10 and 130lbs. However I COULD do it alone it was just very difficult to do so and took longer. It has no remote. The switches are easy to use on front.
It is not real wood. Sometimes when screwing in screw things (2 labeled in there) it messed up some the paint around the hole but not too badly. The screws to put in the back to hold up what will be the back of the cabinets has no pre drilled holes so u have to screw or drill yourself.
So far everything looks and works properly. I've read reviews where they say heat or lighting goes out quickly. I really hope that doesn't happen. I really love this and worked so hard on it. I know its a low price and u get what u pay for. I HOPE it last or that the company would send parts or do repairs or replacements etc. Idk.
