I purchased this TV stand to provide a little more heat in our living room, in addition to having a "fireplace.Stand arrived when stated, in one box, and was very easy to put together. I was able to put this together by myself in about 3 hours (taking my time). The stand I ordered did not come with a remote, but was not advertised with one either. The remote isn't a big deal for me and fireplace can be turned on without the heater. There is no crackling sound, but again, not a big deal. It is by no means top of the line, however, it is a very nice stand and works perfectly. I had no issues with anything lining up and the directions were easy to follow. Would definitely purchase again.
