The fireplace is beautiful. While it took a while for my friend to put it together, he did a great job. As soon as he put it together he turned on the fire and the heat. IT HEATED UP IMMEDIATELY. Just in time, too. The cold weather is now upon us here in the mountains. The fireplace is in my living room surrounded by my sofa and love seat. I usually put the flames on as soon as it gets dark. When it starts to chill up I put the heat on and it keeps me very comfortable for the rest of the evening.
I have my TV mounted on the wall so don't need the fireplace to put it on. But I can't wait for Christmas when I can display my Nativity set on the top of it.
