This end table is good looking and extremely sturdy. Im happy that I bought it and would buy again.
Like other reviewers, I made some modifications to customize it for my purposes. I flipped the slide-out to make a drawer, using a wood chisel to smooth the sides so I could move the sliders into their new spots. Also, because I wanted to keep a laptop in the magazine slot, I drilled a hole from the power area straight down into the top of the slot so that charging cords dont loop over the top of the table. But those changes were just to suit my specific preferences - for someone else, the table would be just fine as it arrived.
The only other thing I wish was different is the magazine slot. The slot is straight up and down and is recessed into the back of the table. Its probably fine for magazines, but its awkward for things that are heavy and slick. When youre sitting beside the table, you have to reach blindly behind and inside to get a firm grip, then maneuver over the center rail of the slot and do a one-handed lift. I was worried that I would drop my laptop in the course of getting it out, so I put grip stickers on it which has helped (so far, anyway). If the slot was tilted out, access would be much easier.
All-in-all, Im very happy with this table and wouldnt hesitate to buy another one.
