While the draw operates smoothly, the inset seem to have no real functional value. As another review noted, it would have been nice if the drawer could be flipped to use the flip side as a regular drawer?
As noted in another review, there are no clues provided about unboxing. The shelf support pegs are hidden/attached in a small plastic bag to the box. Search CAREFULLY before discarding the box! The shelf is also sort of hidden on the bottom of the furniture. Although the box arrived heavily damaged with the box torn open, the internal packaging was intact and no shipping damages detected.
NOTE: although stated delivery service to our door, that was NOT true. The truck would not leave the public street. I got a call from telling me that I would have to drive the 700 feet from my house to the street to get the box! The driveway is paved and weather sunny. While the drivers kindly waited for me to drive down to the street, you should be prepared for the possibility that this type of delivery contractor may not deliver the box to your door as stated. The driver said that they were told not to leave public streets because of customer complaints about damaging driveways, grass etc. Calls to were routed through FIVE different agents before getting to someone who apologized and said the driver would be re-trained!?! The delivery/response fell short of my expectations, and I will definitely think about that before considering heavy big item delivery by .
