Surprisingly stable! Two adults can sleep here comfortably. Or not sleep- not too creaky. ; Some people complained in reviews the ladder is uncomfortable. I can see that, but for me I dont mind. One thing I dont like about this bed is its too short to stand all the way up under (and Im only 53, which sucks cuz my dressers under it and I have to bend my head down a little. But I guess thats typical of loft beds. I mainly took a star off because it arrived missing one of the ladder rungs. Wasnt a problem for me since I only use one of the ladders, but still came with a piece missing.
