I like that these beds were affordable, and after having wooden bunk beds that were heavily worn by my boys within a couple years, I had hoped that metal would be longer lasting. I do believe that they wont look worn nearly as soon as the wooden beds I had prior, but they do come with their own flaws. First, during assembly, several holes didnt line up quite right, and in the end, there was one hold that wasnt threaded at all, the screw went in, but it never tightens. Secondly, the beds are loud and squeaky. We hear every time our boys roll over in the night. We also have had to retighten the screws several times as they keep loosening. Overall, I do not think I would repurchase these beds if given the choice. For now, they serve their purpose, but I will be making a better decision when its time to replace them.
