    Happy It worked

I was a little scared getting this bed. Its designed for children but Im an adult and on the heavy side (215lbs. I really needed the space and the place I chose wouldnt accommodate a full loft bed so I took a chance. I was very surprised. I assembled the bed myself in a few hours. There were a few mistakes because I wasnt paying attention. Lay out the parts and hardware of each section before you put it together and it will save a lot of time and grief. The bed is very sturdy even though it does wobble a bit. But I grew up on bunk beds. Unless they were made of thick wood or steel, they all wobled. If its worrisome it does have a bracket to secure it to the wall. Youll have to provide the rest of the hardware to do that. Making the bed does take some ingenuity so I suggest keeping it simple. Rolling blankets and decorative pillows go a long way. The only thing I work with is the sheets and the bed spread. The closer they fit the mattress the better. I almost forgot about the ladder. If youre over 3ft tall it might be a bit much. The spacing is a bit small and bars can cause discomfort for those on the heavier end of the scale, but it is definitely doable. A few tweaks and theres no issue at all. But Im ly and decided to go the step ladder route. It makes it easier to make the bed and I can place the ladder anywhere I need it. I have ladder where the highest step measures three feet. Its ok for me at 58. It still takes a little acrobatics to get over the top railing so Im going to find a ladder where the top step is four feet.
