Id buy another one, now that Ive put one together.
My daughter lives in it, it has become her lair. Two small glitches: one of the holes on a main crossmember didnt quite line up with the vertical tube on the railing. I drilled a new hole, and all is well. The infernal and deservingly maligned (not to say cursed work-of-the-devil plastic clips are, as described, inconsistent in their fit, and are a b... a b...well, I didnt put them all in. My daughter wont jump on the bed, and the clips are only to keep the mattress supports in holes into which they already are hooked, with mattress and child on top. You would need to turn the whole thing over the make the supports come out of their little sconces. The bed is solid, doesnt seem to need any additional shear bracing, and once its attached to the wall, is quite safe and solid in my opinion.
