Great bunk bed for the price. You will need either an electric screwdriver or a drill with a philips screwdriver bit.
Great Bunkbed for the price. Was delivered 2 days early. Ive built all kinds of basic furniture; entertainment centers, tv stands, chest of drawers, desks, tables etc.
Building the bed was not difficult but it does take time. After I cleared out the room and got everything unpacked it actually took me around 3 hours for the actual assembly. I did not rush as I wanted to make sure everything was done correctly.
All the parts were in the box and all the pieces were clearly labeled. None of the was damaged. I was able to assemble the 2 beds by myself easily but I did need help to lift the top bunk on top of the bottom one. Once we got them stacked it seems very sturdy.
One bit of advice. You will need either an electric screwdriver or a drill with a philips screwdriver bit. Each set of slats that support the mattress has 18 screws that you need to screw directly into the of the frame. Doing this by hand for all 36 screws would have taken forever. Thank god for my drill.
My sons 4 and 5 love the bed. Seems very sturdy and I think it will last them a long time.
