It came in two separate boxes fairly quickly. In a weeks time. There was a mixup with the order at first and they sent a bed instead of a bed. was very accommodating in making the change. Took an extra week. The bed took about 3 hours to assemble, but the size was perfect for the kids room. It fits a normal twin size mattress and could easily be separated later on to make two individual beds. I will say that it can get a bit wobbly and sways front to back. No issues with it being secure though.
