Exactly how it look. Takes a minute to out together but we used to have a metal one and it was sketchy. This one is very quiet and sturdy. My girls love it. It does have wooden support for the mattress but my husband and I might get some bored to put down to even put the weight a little. Otherwise its an aming bed. My husband and I had a great time putting it together.
