This bed was ordered last year and has held up with out worry. The metal design and the secure nuts and bolts are great, has not loosened at all yet. Being used for a 7 yr old girl (75 lbs and her friends have been climbing all over it! I put this together myself, took about 3 hours, would go much faster with two people, but definately doable for one 40 yr old Mom. The directions were pretty clear, lots of pictures, just had one mixup where I put the wrond end so the holes for the ladder were on the insde. I would absolutely reccomend this bed for someone looking for a nice bunk bed.
