I put it together inside of 10 minutes after watching a YouTube video. Had I just had the instructions it would still be in the box. But it went right together and I can tell you this is the best office chair I have had. It does not come with multi-position settings other than height but it does rock so when my back gets tired of one position I can easily move into another. Others have reported staining and it does get dirty but its white. If you dont want to see stains buy another color but I truly love it and its purdy too....
