We were looking for a stool that our old dog could use to help him get up onto the couch, but most footstools are either too narrow or too tall. The size of this one is perfect!! It's a nice 15 x 15 square, and is approx. 8 high. The deep blue fabric is soft to the touch, but the surface is firm. Definitely worth the price! Would recommend.
