I have short legs, and the desk chair I have is still too high (even at the lowest setting) for my feet to touch the ground; this foot rest is the perfect solution. Very cute design although there seems to be a typo on the design as a previous review pointed out (Adventure in the A World). Doesn't bother me though. Very quick to assemble as you just have to screw on the feet included inside the stool. Could probably stow some shenanigans within the ottoman
