The bunk bed is attractive. Its a nice match with the 5 drawer dresser in same gray color we bought from Target. >8 inch mattresses are a smidge too thick for the upper bunk, so we had to buy an additional safety rail for the side. Our particular bunk bed set deserves 4 1/2 stars because nothing was broken and its a nice bunk bed. However, the hardware supplied was defective. Long screws with no threads were sent in the package. We had to find and buy bolts with threads the same length and width for the assembly. A percentage off was offered by to compensate for our expense and inconvenience.
