I feel like there should be a bracket or something but maybe .
This was a little more difficult to put together than I had assumed it would be. One of the brackets did not fit where it was supposed to but I figured it out. Instructions could have been more clear but I did end up figuring it out. You definitely need two people to stack the beds. My only real complaint is that theres nothing but gravity and a thick metal rod holding the top and bottom bed together when stacked. I feel like there should be a bracket or something but maybe this is just how bunk beds are. Overall though I am happy with this purchase. Kids love it.
