Putting it together definitely needs two people. Or one person who is a glutton for punishment. My SO put this together himself, barring times when he couldnt lift things with his mind, and it took him about 5 hours. So its a good afternoon of work. But the bed is amingly sturdy. We have a box spring and a mattress, and its the perfect height for us. The work swimmingly and dont get stuck. Would definitely recommend!
