Strong durable tent, keeps you dry unless theres a tropical storm outside
I had this tent for a couple of years now, it has held up and is really easy to set up. We just recently used this tent in the Outer Banks with a tropical storm brewing outside. We decided to see if the storm would pass through. The tent held up with strong gusts and heavy rain for the most part. Rain started coming in only when the wind was so strong that it was blowing the rain sideways into the tent. We stayed dry but the floor started to get wet at the edges. It wasnt until probably 50mph+ gusts that one corner collapsed in and broke the pole. We called it quits after that but Ill give it to this tent, it held up until the end. I just wouldnt recommend camping with it in heavy wind/rain, especially since it is on the taller side and not low to the ground. Use different stakes meant for sand also if you intend to camp on the beach.
