I was pretty surprised at what these outdoor cushions cost. I was expecting maybe $50, so I spent some time looking at reviews and shopping around. In the end this cushion seems well worth the money.
The fabric appears very durable. It is thick and tough feeling and the zippers are not cheap either and should last a long time. The band of fabric that connects the top and bottom sections it stitched together very nicely and should last a long time as well. And it is a real nice looking cushion - makes me want to paint my lounger to a color that matches the cushion better.
Right now its new and pretty stiff but still very comfortable to lay on. But when the lounger end is released so it angles down the cushion sticks straight out. I suspect over time it will loosen up and follow the angle of the chair. If I am laying on it the cushion bends down easily. It took some effort to get the covers on the cushions but I would think that is a good thing - better to fit tight and loosen up over time and use IMO.
I bring my cushions in when it rains but it does a real good job of repelling water so I can just shake them off after a quick rain or if I dont happen to be around to bring them in when it starts raining. I have seen in some other reviewer comments about the cushions holding water. Makes sense to me these are water resistant not water proof. The fabric would have to be a lot more plastic feeling to not hold any water yes?
Overall I am very pleased with the quality of this cushion and would not hesitate to recommend it to someone looking for a good lounger cushion.
