None of the reviews have mentioned it, but this is a GIGANTIC chair. The seat part is unusually deep, and you really need to sit all the way back to properly enjoy a rocking chair. Im 5 6 and can just about fit in it (with the edge of the seat digging into the back of my knee a bit), but my wife and daughter cannot. They have to sit in the middle of the seat in order to be able to bend their legs, which makes it impossible to rock. Other than that, it is well-made but you need some power tools to put it together. Unfortunately, after all that work I had to disassemble the whole thing and send it back.
