Horrified at the prices for a 4-drawer vertical cabinet, I ordered two of these on the off-chance that they could be stacked. Im happy to report that they can, although being in earthquake country, I took the precaution of putting a triple layer of pebbly shelf liner in between to keep the top unit sliding off during the next tremor. The design is such that one has to look closely to know this 4-drawer unit is really a two on two.
Unlike others have reported, thanks to several inches of styrofoam around all edges and corners, both units arrived undented and unscratched. However, attaching the handles is a bit tricky, but much easier if you pre-screw (and then remove) each screw into its post before attempting to do it through the drawer front. Also unlike others have reported, the screws that came with my units were the correct length and did not require washers to make the connection tight.
I bought two and will probably buy a third!
