This is the second desk Ive ordered, and I have to say, I really love these desks!! Theyre inexpensive, fairly easy to assemble, very sturdy and give me a lot of desk space. I really dont have anything negative to say about them.
I do have some tips to offer when assembling them. First, initially you dont want to tighten any of the bolts with anything but your hand. Wait until you get everything pieced together and lined up properly before you do the final tightening. Next, I highly recommend using washers for the bolts that mount the desk surface to the frame. The holes for these bolts are larger to allow a little play so you can line up the surfaces. There is a risk if you over/tighten these bolts even slightly that the head will go right through the hole. They dont provide washers, but really should / it takes about a dozen. Finally / and this cant be stressed enough (excuse the pun) / DONT over/tighten ANY of the bolts. The way I ensure that I dont over/tighten them is to use the hex wrench they give you lengthwise instead of for maximum leverage. That is, I insert the long end into the bolt head, using the stubby end to tighten with my fingers. That way, your fingers will begin to hurt just before you risk over/tightening it letting you know its time to stop.
