Fairly easy to assemble, though some instructions have pictures with icons so small you cant really see anything useful. Seems pretty sturdy. Desk looks great at a distance.
However, mine came with everything covered in dust and with cosmetic defects everywhere. Desktop came chipped on several corners. Metal bars came scraped and scuffed in several areas. Also had two instruction manuals, with one looking much more beat up than the other. I suspect it was a return that someone at the factory looked at and said looks good enough, lets repackage this and sell it again.
Go for it if youre feeling lucky. Most other reviewers seemed to have better luck than me.

customer service contacted me after posting this review and apologized profusely for the state of the desk and replaced it with a new one. The new one looks spectacular (despite the box coming all torn up)!
The desk is gorgeous and the company is wonderful. Its great to know that they stand by their product, take responsibility for any defects, and value customer satisfaction. Highly recommended!
