We purchased this item for my 15/year old. Frame is great looking! It was easy to put together, just be sure to follow the instructions slowly and cross reference the instructions with the diagram picture, especially the location of the dowel holes and the curviture of the molding. Platform frame only fits FULL size bed, in case youre wondering what 54 will cover. Wanted to use just the matress on the frame, but it was too low to the ground so we ended up using the box spring too. HINT: purchase an extra fitted sheet in a solid color that matches your comforter set and put the fitted sheet around your box spring. Looks way cool with this platform bed. Great teen look or modern apartment/loft idea.
