I think its important to keep price point in mind. As much as I prefer quality, I didnt want to spend $800-1000+. The cheap price tag of this piece was within my budget and the design/style is perfect for the boho space Im creating so I ordered it. Anytime furniture is made w/ a laminate finish and mdf, it means its not going to be as strong as real wood and if the top layer gets damaged, youre gonna see it worst than if it were solid wood. Because of this, low quality material pieces need to be handled w/ extreme care. Like, white glove style! Also, take care to learn helpful tips for installing the doors. Its easy to install them incorrectly which will make them crooked. The top arrived w/ a dent. I didnt notice it until I was just about done putting it together. It would have been no problem if it were the bottom or back. However, being that its the top, its visible. Im just glad its at the back of the top. Hopefully my table top decor covers it. I wasnt able to get a replacement for the top only. A refund was offered. But I opted for a partial refund. The idea of disassembling and repackaging this to send back sounds like more of a haste than looking at the dent. Also, its out of stock now.
